Founding Stories

Second Chance Foundation International was born from the personal journey of our founder, Rev. Clement Ngala a man who intimately understands the pain of being an orphan.

Growing up at one time without parents, Clement experienced hardship, rejection, and hopelessness. But through divine grace and the compassion of his uncle, he found a second chance. That experience ignited a passion in his heart to ensure that no child, widow, or vulnerable person is left behind without hope or help.

As a pastor, Clement holds firmly to the truth in James 1:27: “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble.” He believes that every church and every believer should be active in meeting the needs of the vulnerable.

Second Chance Foundation International exists to restore hope and dignity to orphans, widows, ex convicts, and victims of trafficking, early marriage, and poverty. Through educational support, shelter, vocational training, and sustainable development, we empower people to rebuild their lives and become contributors to their communities.

We are not just an organization. We are a movement fueled by compassion, committed to justice, and driven by the belief that every life deserves a second chance.

Since then, she has walked closely with the Holy Spirit, dedicating her story and her writing to inspire and bring healing to others.

Today, Shireen works as a professional writer in the corporate world while actively sharing her testimony and ministering hope. Through her words and her life, she brings encouragement, restoration, and faith to those navigating the wounds of the spirit.

Her earliest memory was knowing she would be a writer, and she has since dedicated her gift and passion for writing to the Lord as a vessel of healing and transformation.
